Fori Imperiali Roma From February 7 to 18 May Palazzo Venezia hosts the first and only monographic exhibition dedicated to Sebastiano Luciani, known as "Lead" (1485-1547). The exhibition aims to show the general public what the world's leading Renaissance experts consider as one of the greatest artists of the'500 Europe.
Protagonist of a unique season of Italian art , the Venetian painter learned from Giorgione and was contemporary Titian, Leonardo and Raphael (whose talent was often compared) and his great friendship with Michelangelo also brought to a fruitful artistic collaboration. < br> The 80 works on display are a precious legacy that Sebastiano del Piombo left, and between portraits,tables impressive, small paintings on board, drawings and preparatory works for comparison, you can also admire the various stages of his career, from the chromatic heat of the beginning, passing through the geometric abstraction, then finish with the dark tones of last years.
The exhibition will move later in Berlin at the Gemaldegalerie, which contributed to the realization of the project together with Polo Museale Romano, and will be hosted in the German capital until the end of September.

The hours: daily from 10 to 20 (the Friday and Saturdays until 22). Be noted that the ticket office closes one hour earlier.
