'Ma il Cielo è sempre più Blu'

The 4th district of Rome wants to remember the brilliant singer and author Rino Gaetano (born in Calabria but living in Rome for a long time) who passed away 30 years ago.
Gaetano's family, the Rino Gaetano Band, Tmisoara Pinto and the town councilor Fabio Dionisi invite the citizens to the tribute-event in memory of Rino Gaetano, taking place in Rome, on the square Piazza Sempione, in the district of Montesacro, starting at 9 o' clock p.m.

The program includes a concert of Rino Gaetano Band as well as the participation of many artists, like strong>Sergio Cammariere, Tet De Bois, Francesco Di Giacomo, Andrea Rivera, Ernesto Bassignano, Diana Tejera, Claudio Santamaria, Beppe Voltarelli and many others.

Rino Gaetano can be considered one of the most influential Italian singers and composers, even though his life was very short, ending unexpectedly with a car crash just a few kilometers from his house in Rome.
His artistic life lasted for just 8 years, from 1873 to 1981, but it was a very intense and rich cultural and social period; during those few years he got to meet some big artists and could play in some historical clubs of Rome, like the famous Folkstudio.

His songs are still very popular among young people and adults, who are fascinated by his lyrics.
The concert is not just a simple memorial event, but it is a way to remember the creativity and happiness, that characterized the singer.
