Everybody come to the theatre! One of the most beloved musicals of all time, Mamma Mia!, will be on stage at the Brancaccio theatre (Via Merulana, 244) in Rome, until January 27th, 2012. The musical has already broken every record (50 millions watchers, 270 theatres in the world, 2 billion dollars) and convinced everyone to dance along with ABBA's music. Mamma Mia!, is anyway much more than a musical: it's a real world entertainment show, thanks to an interesting storyline it can cross every border finding success in every country of the world.
Chiara Noschese is the protagonist of the story, in the role, which was already played by Meryl Streep; she is on the stage with 31 very good actors, dancers and singers, playing different roles, among them a mother, a daughter and three possible fathers. This is what Catherine Johnson's story is about: a girl, just before her wedding day, invites three men from her mother's past, in order to find her real dad. A funny, amusing story, set on a beautiful island in the Greek sea. The whole story is enriched by the famous songs written by ABBA, in the Italian versions by Stefano D'Orazio and Alice Mistioni. The music gives extra energy to this love story, where joy and friendship play the main role.
This musical is full of energy and strength, where the adrenaline passes from the stge to the audience and viceversa, with a lot of good vibrations which keep on amusing people all over the world.
